“Gymkhana of sustainability for families in the open air” European research night

The European Researchers’ Night is a pan-European event of which the 12th edition took place place on the 24th and 25th of September 2021. In Madrid, it is managed by Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme-Marie Sk?odowska.

The activity “Gymkhana of sustainability for families in the open air” consisted of a circuit of interactive outdoor activities in which participants learned and resolved questions about sustainability and its relationship with our lifestyle, urban space, mobility, and energy.

The participants were grouped in small teams.

The activity was organized and held by researchers from the UPM who showed how academic and research work impacts society.
