Description
This workshop will be organized following a hackathon format and oriented to design innovative solutions to one or various challenges linked to campus sustainability. These challenges will be proposed by the coordination team of EELISA DISCOVERY based on the diagnostics realized by the students in the framework of the Climate Fresk workshop.
Furthermore, this workshop will be connected to the two sets of seminars organized by EELISA DISCOVERY as the technical solutions of these lectures will constitute valuable inputs to inspire students. Participants will work in groups of 4-6 people and will have to present their prototypes in a pitch to a jury that will evaluate their proposal. Then, on the basis of this evaluation, teams will work together to build common solutions that will be enriched by all proposals. The final solutions will be then studied by an expert panel in order to estimate their viability and possibility to implement them in the campus.
This workshop is aimed to be organized jointly with all EELISA partners being part of the EELISA DISCOVERY community. Thus, it will depend on collaborations formalized at that time.
Assessment: Participation to the whole activity and presentation of a project that would adress the challenge/s proposed.
