Course Description
The aim of the Master in Fashion & Materials is to bring together a wide range of disciplines to support the environmental and social transition of the fashion and materials industry. The program has been designed as a platform for interdisciplinary experimentation, providing an opportunity to pool expertise in different areas and interact with the industry and civil society. The module “Projet collectif transécoles” proposes to students from different disciplines (design, management, engineering) to work as a group to explore a prospective subject proposed by a partner company. In 2022 it will run every Thursday and Friday afternoon, from February 24th to May 13th. EELISA students are welcome to join the project that is proposed by Ananas Anam, the Certified B Corporation makers of Piñatex®, an innovative natural textile made from waste pineapple leaf fibre. The group will get to explore value chain challenges to develop the textile and will work on a “talking piece” designed to create a conversation about responsibility in the sector. This project with Ananas Anam is one of the project of our EELISA community.
